Description
The XS Sights DXT2 Standard Dot suppressor-height night sight set is purpose-built for defensive carry on Glock 17/19 pistols and similar-pattern Glock slides. The set is built on a rugged steel frame finished in black, and installs via the front post / rear dovetail mount common to Glock-pattern pistols.
The front post uses a green/white tritium lamp that glows around the clock without batteries or ambient light, while the rear sight carries a black/white tritium configuration. Both inserts are self-illuminating tritium, so the sight picture stays readable in low light, indoors, or in a darkened environment.
The suppressor-height profile is the key upgrade over standard-height Glock night sights: the taller front and rear posts allow the iron sights to co-witness through a slide-mounted red dot optic, or to clear a sound suppressor or compensator mounted to the muzzle. For defensive and duty use, that means a working backup sight picture even when a mounted optic goes down or is run in combination with a can.
True to the DXT2 design philosophy, the Standard Dot pairs a high-contrast front post with a wider rear notch so the eye locks onto the front sight quickly under stress.
