The Winchester XPR Sporter pairs Winchester’s proven bolt-action platform with the modern 6.8 Western chambering, delivering a rugged, accurate hunting rifle built around an updated cartridge designed for long-range performance on medium to heavy game. This full-size Sporter configuration blends classic walnut furniture with a durable matte black finish to deliver a rifle that feels right at home in the field and at the range.
At the heart of the rifle is a 22-inch button-rifled barrel with a 1:8″ twist and a recessed target crown, paired with a stainless steel receiver finished in Black Perma-Cote to shrug off weather and hard use. The proven bolt-action feeds from a 3+1 capacity box, measures 42 inches overall, and weighs approximately 7 lbs. A traditional Turkish walnut stock in a fixed layout fills out the right-hand package. The XPR Sporter ships without iron sights, leaving the shooter free to mount the optic of choice.
Shooting controls are tuned for the hunting field: the crisp M.O.A. Trigger System breaks cleanly for both deliberate range work and quick follow-up shots, while a two-position safety lets the shooter safely unload a chambered round with the safety engaged.
