The Winchester Ammo Centerfire Rifle line includes a dedicated 224 Valkyrie reloading projectile for handloaders building their own high-performance rifle ammunition. Each bullet is an Open Tip design weighing 62 gr, and this package contains 100 bullets per bag – projectiles only, ready for the reloading bench.
The 224 Valkyrie is a modern, high-velocity, low-recoil cartridge built on a necked-down 6.8 SPC case, designed to push .224 diameter bullets faster and farther than the .223 Remington. The 62-grain Open Tip bullet features an exposed lead tip at the meplat, a long-recognized profile for varmint and target handloads where flat trajectory, accuracy, and reliable upset are priorities. Winchester’s Open Tip projectiles are a proven choice for varmint hunting and target shooting applications.
These are reloading bullets only – not loaded ammunition – intended for experienced handloaders who assemble their own 224 Valkyrie cartridges using appropriate brass, primers, and powder. Each bulk bag holds 100 projectiles, and 10 bags make up a full case (1,000 bullets).
