The Wildgame Innovations Encounter XT is a cellular trail camera designed to push images and short video clips straight from the field to your phone through the Huntsmart app. Housed in a brown housing, it captures stills at 26 MP with selectable 34 / 16 / 8 / 4 MP resolution settings and records 720p video, making it a practical scouting tool for tracking game across a wide range of properties.
For low-light and nighttime use, four 850 nm IR LEDs throw an invisible flash out to an 80 ft illumination range, while a sub-half-second trigger speed of roughly 0.4 seconds helps keep moving game in the frame. A dual-network cellular modem automatically selects between AT&T and Verizon towers, so coverage is handled without swapping SIMs or modems in the field.
Power is supplied by 8 AA batteries (not included), with an onboard 12V DC jack for pairing with an external solar panel or larger battery box for extended deployments. Stills and video are saved to a user-supplied SD memory card, and the package includes the camera, the cellular antenna, and a mounting strap so it is ready to deploy right out of the box.
