The Weaver Mounts 99501 Multi-Slot Base is a one-piece extended optic base purpose-built for the Remington 700 and Howa 1500 long action bolt-action rifles. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a rugged black anodized coating, this base adds roughly 1″ of forward length beyond a standard top-mount, giving you more rail real estate for long-eye-relief scopes, night-vision optics, magnifiers, or back-up iron sights.
The multi-slot design accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, so you can run virtually any modern scope ring system on the same platform. The one-piece extended construction provides a single rigid platform that spans the receiver, and the base mounts directly to the rifle receiver for a secure fit.
Rings are not included, letting you pair the base with the exact ring height and brand that fits your optic and shooting style.
