The Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, designed for hunters and shooters who want a lighter, shorter Weatherby for backcountry and mountain use. It pairs the Vanguard action with a trim 20″ matte blued barrel and a factory-threaded muzzle, giving you a compact 6.5 Creedmoor that’s ready for a suppressor or muzzle brake.
The 1 contour barrel carries a 1:8″ twist and a matte blued finish that cuts down glare in the field. It mates to a matte blued, drilled and tapped steel receiver, giving you a solid optics platform for the scope or rings you prefer. Iron sights are not included so you can mount exactly the optic you want. The action is fed by a detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity.
Shooters get an adjustable two-stage match trigger for a clean, custom-feeling pull, plus a three-position safety for safe handling with a round in the chamber. The black synthetic stock is fully adjustable, letting you dial in length of pull for a proper fit. Right-hand configuration, an overall length of 39″ to 40″, and a weight of 6.50 lbs round out a package that’s light enough to carry all day but stable enough for prone and bipod shooting.
