Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Badlands is a rugged bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag and built around a 24″ 2 contour threaded barrel finished in eye-catching Burnt Bronze Cerakote. It’s the first production rifle to wear the popular Badlands Approach camouflage, a pattern that uses adaptive coloration to break up the rifle’s outline across varied terrain.
At the heart of the action is a stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for optic mounting, paired with a fluted bolt body and fed from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate for a 3+1 round capacity. The rifle wears a synthetic Monte Carlo stock with a raised comb to line up comfortably behind a scoped optic, and the entire package weighs in at 7.50 lbs with an overall length of 44.50″.
Shooters get a crisp, customizable pull from the adjustable two-stage match trigger, and a 3-position safety for confident carry in the field. The barrel is 2 contoured and threaded for a suppressor or muzzle brake, and no iron sights are included, leaving the top of the receiver open for your optic of choice. The rifle is set up for right-handed shooters and features a 1:10″ twist suited to a broad range of 300 Win Mag bullet weights.
From high-country elk hunts to long-range plains shooting, the Vanguard Badlands delivers the Weatherby reputation for accuracy and the concealment of Badlands Approach camo in one ready-to-scope package.
