The Weatherby Orion I is a classic break-open double-barrel shotgun chambered in 20 Gauge with a 3″ chamber and a 2-round capacity. Part of Weatherby’s traditional shotgun lineup, the Orion I delivers the timeless styling and handling upland bird hunters and clay shooters appreciate.
The 26″ blued vent rib barrel is paired with a matching blued steel receiver for a cohesive traditional look, while a brass bead front sight rides the rib for quick, intuitive target acquisition. The shotgun ships with three choke tubes – Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified – letting you tune the pattern for tight cover shots, general field use, or longer reaches. A tang-mounted safety sits within easy reach of the shooter’s thumb.
The fixed walnut stock features the classic Prince of Wales grip with a warm brown finish, shaped for right-hand shooters. The break-open action swings open to expose both chambers simultaneously for fast reloading. At 6.20 lbs, the Orion I is light enough for long walks in the field yet balanced for steady swings on flushing birds.
