Description
The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon is a lightweight, backcountry-ready bolt-action rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag. Built around Weatherby’s modern Model 307 action with a 2-lug, fully cylindrical bolt, this rifle pairs a precision 22″ BSF carbon fiber wrapped threaded barrel with a 1:10″ twist and the modular MDT HNT26 chassis to deliver a complete hunting and long-range package weighing just 6.6 lbs.
The stainless steel barrel is finished in Carbon Gray Cerakote and mated to a steel receiver for corrosion resistance in harsh environments. A Weatherby Accubrake DST muzzle brake is fitted to the threaded barrel to tame felt recoil and keep the muzzle flat for follow-up shots and long-range work. Receiver controls include a crisp TriggerTech Field trigger and a two-position safety. The rifle ships with no iron sights, ready for the shooter to mount their preferred optic.
The black MDT HNT26 stock/chassis offers an adjustable length of pull and comb height, allowing shooters to dial in fit for both hunting and prone long-range shooting. Overall length runs 32.25″ to 44.25″ thanks to the adjustable chassis setup, and capacity is 3+1. This is a versatile, lightweight rifle well suited for backcountry hunting, mountain shooting, and extended-range applications where weight savings, modularity, and Weatherby-grade reliability all matter.
