Description
The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon is a precision bolt-action rifle built on Weatherby’s Model 307 action, a 2-lug, fully cylindrical bolt designed to complement the historic Mark V and Vanguard lineups. Chambered in 280 Ackley Improved, the rifle pairs a 22″ BSF carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel threaded barrel with a 1:9″ twist and the Accubrake DST muzzle brake for effective recoil management.
At its core is a steel receiver finished in Carbon Gray Cerakote. The action offers a 3+1 capacity and is operated by a smooth two-lug bolt. The fire control is a TriggerTech Field trigger, paired with a two-position safety for confident handling. An overall length range of 32.25″ to 44.25″ and a weight of 6.60 lbs make this rifle well suited for backcountry hunts and long-range shooting.
The stock is the MDT HNT26 chassis in a black finish, offering adjustable comb and heel drop to dial in fit. The barrel is threaded 5/8″x24 for suppressor or muzzle device compatibility, and the rifle ships with no iron sights installed, ready for your preferred optic.
