The VKTR Industries AR-15 Forward Assist Kit (part number WLA-UPR-2003-01) is a replacement forward assist assembly designed for AR-15 upper receivers. Constructed from aluminum and steel components with a black finish, this kit supplies the parts needed to install or rebuild the forward assist on a standard AR-15 upper receiver.
The forward assist is a standard AR-15 control located on the right side of the upper receiver. It allows the shooter to manually drive the bolt carrier group forward into battery when a round fails to fully chamber on its own.
