The TruGlo Fat Bead 5-40 Dual Color fiber optic front sight is the largest-diameter bead replacement in the TruGlo bead lineup, engineered to give shotgunners a bright, fast-to-acquire aiming point. The bead installs into any shotgun fitted with a standard 5-40 threaded front sight port and is housed in a CNC-machined steel body finished in black.
The dual-color fiber optic insert collects ambient light through a .120 inch diameter fiber, with stacked green and red segments providing a contrasting aiming point in low light. The exposed fiber measures 0.5 inch long, presenting a high-visibility bead that draws the eye onto the target for turkey hunting and any shotgunning application where quick sight acquisition matters.
Designed as a direct replacement, the Fat Bead threads into the factory front sight boss commonly found on Mossberg and Stoeger shotguns, making it a popular upgrade for hunters running a bead that has dimmed or been lost in the field.
