The TruGlo Fat Bead is TruGlo’s largest diameter fiber-optic bead replacement sight, engineered to thread into standard shotgun bead bases. It is built around a CNC-machined steel body with a black finish and installs using its 2.6mm thread pattern.
This Dual Color configuration pairs green and red fiber-optic strands in a single oversized bead, giving shooters a high-visibility aiming point across varied lighting conditions. The exposed fiber measures 0.50 in in length with a 0.120 in diameter, gathering ambient light to deliver a bright, fast-to-acquire front sight picture for hunters and shooters working in low-light timber, fields, and heavy cover.
Designed as a direct upgrade or replacement for worn factory beads, the Fat Bead installs in minutes on any shotgun fitted with a compatible bead base, offering an immediate visibility upgrade without modifying the gun.
