The Traditions 1873 SA Frontier revolver is a faithful reproduction of the iconic single-action six-shooter, chambered in .44 Magnum and built around a 7.5-inch barrel. Produced by Traditions Firearms in the USA, this six-shot revolver pairs a steel frame finished in classic color-case hardened with smooth walnut grip panels for an authentic period-correct look.
Modeled on the legendary 1873 single-action army revolver, the Frontier features a fixed blade front sight and a traditional rear sight notch cut into the frame, along with a transfer bar safety for added security during carry. The action is purely single-action: each chamber is cycled by cocking the hammer and pulling through individually. A six-round cylinder chambered in .44 Magnum makes the Frontier equally well suited to the range, cowboy action shooting competition, or display in a western-themed collection.
