The Tikka T1x MTR is a purpose-built bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, designed to handle a wide range of shooting tasks from plinking and small-game hunting to rimfire training and skill-building. The MTR (Multi-Task Rifle) configuration pairs a modern synthetic stock with a precision cold hammer-forged barrel that uses a unique cross-over profile, giving the stability of a heavier contour without noticeably increasing the overall weight.
This full-size variant wears a 16″ threaded barrel with a 1:16.5″ right-hand twist, factory-threaded for suppressor or muzzle-device attachment. The action holds 10+1 rounds of 22 LR. The drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver is ready for standard scope-base mounting, and the rifle ships with no iron sights, leaving the optic choice to the shooter.
Control surfaces include a smooth bolt action mated to a single-stage trigger and a fixed black synthetic stock. Total length is 33.70″ and overall weight is 5.50 lbs, balanced and compact for offhand shooting, prone work, and casual range use. Right-hand configuration.
