Description
The Tikka T3x UPR, short for “Ultimate Precision Rifle,” is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and engineered for long-range precision shooting and hunting alike. Built around Tikka’s proven T3x action, the UPR pairs a smooth, reliable bolt with a 24.30″ barrel cut at a 1:8″ twist to stabilize a wide range of 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles.
The receiver is machined from steel and finished in a low-glare blued/black matte, then drilled and tapped for optics so shooters can mount their preferred riflescope directly to the action. A crisp single-stage trigger delivers the predictable break precision work demands, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for easy installation of a muzzle brake or suppressor.
The defining feature of the UPR is its stock: an all-new design oriented around long-range shooting, with an extra layer of carbon fiber mixed with the fiberglass bedding to stiffen the forend and improve shot-to-shot consistency. The black-speckled tan synthetic stock is set up for right-hand shooters and brings the rifle in at 8.30 lbs unloaded with an overall length of 44″. Feeding from a 10+1 detachable magazine, the Tikka T3x UPR is a precision rifle still light enough to carry all day in the field.
