The Thompson Center T17 Inline Muzzleloader Cleaning Kit is purpose-built for maintaining .50 caliber black powder inline rifles. Every component a muzzleloader shooter needs to break down fouling, lubricate the bore, and protect the breech plug after a day at the range is included in one compact kit from Thompson Center.
At the heart of the kit is a 3-piece aluminum rod with a molded handle, sized and threaded correctly for .50 caliber muzzleloader barrels. The rod drives a .50 cal bore brush for cutting through heavy fouling, a .50 cal bore swab for final patching, and a .50 cal jag for patch delivery. Twenty round cleaning patches are included so you can head to the range immediately.
Thompson Center’s proprietary T-17 chemical lineup rounds out the kit: a 2 oz. bottle of T-17 Bore Cleaning Solvent formulated specifically for black powder residue, a 1 3/4 oz. tube of T-17 Natural Lube 1000 Plus for bore conditioning and rust protection, and a 1 1/2 oz. tube of T-17 Breech Plug Anti-Seize Grease to keep breech plug threads free so the plug can be removed easily after firing.
