Description
The Taylor’s & Company 1860 Henry Brass Engraved is a faithful modern reproduction of Benjamin Tyler Henry’s iconic 19th-century lever-action rifle, chambered in .44-40 Winchester. This deluxe civilian Henry pairs a distinctive laser-engraved, hand-chased brass receiver with a 24.25″ blued octagonal barrel, a traditional walnut stock, and a brass butt plate for an authentic period-correct appearance.
This is a true lever-action rifle feeding from the original Henry-style tubular magazine with a 13+1 capacity. Sights follow the classic original pattern: a blade front paired with an adjustable ladder rear sight. The ornate brass frame scrollwork replicates the high-grade engraving found on premium original Henry rifles, while the remaining metalwork is blued and case hardened for an authentic period-correct finish.
Measuring 43.30″ overall and weighing 9 lbs, the 1860 Henry Brass Engraved is configured for right-hand shooters and features a brown-stained walnut stock paired with a blued octagon barrel and brass furniture. An outstanding choice for Cowboy Action Shooting, historical reenactment, hunting, or as a display-grade reproduction of one of America’s most historically significant rifles.
