The Taurus Raging Hunter is a purpose-built hunting revolver chambered in the hard-hitting 460 S&W Magnum. Engineered for big-game pursuits, the Raging Hunter pairs a robust matte stainless steel frame with a matte black oxide cylinder and black anodized barrel, creating a striking two-tone configuration that shrugs off the elements in the field.
At the heart of this revolver is a 5.12″ ported barrel with factory-tuned porting and a gas-expansion chamber designed to reduce muzzle rise for faster, more accurate follow-up shots on dangerous game. A sleeved barrel construction keeps weight at approximately 50 oz, while the integrated Picatinny rail on the top strap provides a solid mounting platform for red dots or long-eye-relief optics. The revolver’s DA/SA action cycles smoothly with an exposed hammer, giving shooters the choice of double-action pulls or crisp single-action fire.
