The Taurus Raging Hunter is a large-frame hunting revolver chambered in .454 Casull. Built around a rugged steel frame finished in matte black oxide, this 5-shot double-action/single-action revolver pairs a ported 6.75″ barrel with a cushioned rubber grip, giving hunters and big-bore enthusiasts a purpose-built sidearm for backcountry carry and hard-hitting field work.
The action runs through an exposed hammer and a 6.75″ steel barrel finished in black anodized, with porting to help manage the punishing recoil of full-power .454 Casull loads. Sighting is handled by a fixed front blade paired with an adjustable rear sight, and the frame carries an integrated optics rail so the included scope mount accepts red-dot or magnified optics right out of the box.
A contoured black rubber grip with an integrated red cushion insert is engineered to soak up recoil and keep the gun planted during rapid follow-up shots. At 54 oz unloaded and 12.50″ overall, the Raging Hunter balances and tracks more like a small rifle than a typical snub-nose carry revolver.
