The Talley TMS30L Modern Sporting scope ring set is purpose-built for 30mm main-tube optics on AR/MSR-platform rifles and any firearm equipped with a Picatinny rail. CNC-machined in the USA from lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and finished in durable black anodized, this two-ring set clamps directly to any rail cut to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny specifications – no separate base required.
The “L” in the model number indicates a low ring profile, with a nominal ring height of .890″ above the top of the rail. That low stance delivers a clean, repeatable sight picture and is well suited to red dots, prism scopes, low-power variable optics, and similar flat-top MSR setups. Configured at 0 MOA, these rings provide a neutral mounting platform with no built-in forward inclination, keeping holdover minimal for general-purpose and close-to-medium-range shooting.
Talley’s Modern Sporting ring set uses an integrated clamp-style base that mates directly to the Picatinny rail, providing a strong, lightweight, and repeatable mount without adding unnecessary bulk or weight to your rifle.
