The Talley 740700LM is a one-piece scope mount and ring combo precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a black anodized finish. Designed specifically for the Remington 700, 721, 722, 725, and 40X families in long action configurations, this lightweight 2-piece base-and-ring system eliminates the traditional ring-to-base joint for a rigid, repeatable, and alignment-free interface between optic and receiver.
The integrated ring design accepts any 30mm main tube scope and is offered here in a medium ring height to clear standard objective bells on most long-action Remington setups. A factory-built 20 MOA cant on the base gives additional elevation adjustment for long-range shooting, helping shooters maximize the dial-out range of their optic when pushing distance with heavier bullet weights or higher B.C. projectiles.
Talley’s simplified one-piece alloy construction removes the possibility of loose connections or out-of-alignment interfaces found in conventional two-piece ring-and-base setups, while the inherent strength of 6061-T6 aluminum keeps overall weight to a minimum on the rifle. All attachment screws and hardware are included, and the combo mounts directly to the factory receiver holes on the supported Remington 700/721/722/725/40X long-action rifles with no additional bases required.
