Description
The Steiner 2038 Military-Marine is a rugged 7x50mm Porro prism binocular built for marine, tactical, and general outdoor use. It pairs Steiner’s classic Porro prism design – which provides a rich, immersive depth of field – with a lightweight Makrolon polycarbonate housing wrapped in protective OD Green rubber armor for a secure grip and shock absorption in the field.
Multi-coated optics and large 50mm objective lenses work together to deliver bright, sharp images with strong low-light performance. The Sports-Auto Focus system sets both eyepieces at a preset distance so the binocular stays in focus from 65 feet out to infinity without constant refocusing, ideal for marine and scanning applications. Steiner’s Floating Prism System uses a flexible silicone mount to protect the optical path from severe shock and impact.
The 2038 produces a 302 ft field of view at 1,000 yds, 20.2mm of eye relief, a 7.10mm exit pupil, and a twilight factor of 18.70. It weighs 36 oz. Nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed, the binocular is built fogproof and waterproof for reliable performance in harsh marine and weather conditions. A protective case is included.
