The Spyderco Urban Lightweight (model C127PBK) is a slim, non-locking slipjoint folder designed for discreet everyday carry in urban environments. It pairs a full-flat-ground 2.61″ drop-point blade in N690Co stainless steel with a lightweight black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) handle, weighing just 2 oz.
The blade opens via Spyderco’s signature round thumb slot and rides on a pivot washer for smooth action. The non-locking slipjoint mechanism keeps the knife compliant with restrictive knife laws in many cities and countries, while an index-finger choil on the blade adds control during detail work. The blade is finished with a plain edge for clean, easy resharpening.
At 6.06″ open and 3.45″ closed, the Urban Lightweight disappears in a pocket. The textured black FRN handle provides secure grip, and a reversible pocket clip supports tip-up carry on either side. The Urban Lightweight is manufactured in Italy to Spyderco’s quality standards.
