The Springfield Armory Model 2020 Waypoint is a premium precision bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. Built around a stainless steel receiver and dressed in a striking Mil-Spec Green Cerakote finish, this rifle is purpose-built for serious hunters and long-range shooters who demand accuracy and lightweight handling in the field.
The 24″ carbon fiber barrel features a 1:8″ twist rate optimized for the long, heavy-for-caliber projectiles common to 6.5 PRC handloads and factory ammunition. A precision SA Radial Brake tames felt recoil at the muzzle, while the fluted bolt rides on dual locking lugs for consistent lockup and reliable extraction. Springfield backs the action with a factory .75 MOA accuracy guarantee, placing the Waypoint in the semi-custom precision class.
A TriggerTech adjustable trigger delivers a clean, crisp break with a short, positive reset, and a two-position safety provides confident carry in the field. The rifle feeds from a 3+1 detachable box magazine and is configured for right-hand shooters. The hybrid-profile carbon fiber stock wears an Evergreen Camo pattern and includes an M-LOK accessory interface on the forend for bipod and accessory mounting.
