The Smith & Wesson M&P Rescue folding knife is purpose-built for emergency carry, vehicle duty, and everyday defensive use. Part of the M&P tactical knife line, this SWMP11BCP variant pairs a 3.80″ tanto blade in stainless steel with a textured black G10 handle scale over an aluminum liner-lock frame, giving the user a reliable cutting tool with integrated rescue features.
The tanto blade profile delivers a strong tip for piercing and a straight edge for controlled slicing, finished in a non-reflective black coating. Deployment is handled by ambidextrous thumb studs with thumb ramp jimping and an index flipper, and the blade locks up via a liner lock for safe operation under hard use. A plain edge keeps the cutting profile simple and easy to maintain in the field.
Integrated rescue tools include a glass breaker tip and a seat belt cutter recessed into the handle, making this knife a solid option for first-responder, vehicle, or EDC duty carry. A pocket clip is included for tip-up carry. The M&P Rescue measures 8.90″ overall with a closed length of 5.15″ and a carry-friendly weight of 5.70 oz.
