Description
The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 revives a legendary American nameplate for the lever-action rifle market, pairing time-honored Western styling with modern precision features. Chambered in .44 Remington Magnum, this rifle is purpose-built for hunting, cowboy action shooting, and shooters who appreciate the smooth, reliable action of a quality lever gun.
At the core of the Model 1854 is a 19.25-inch threaded barrel finished in durable Black PVD, delivering the trajectory and hard-hitting energy that made .44 Rem Mag a legend for medium-game hunting and brush-country defense. The barrel is cut with 1:20″ rifling in an 8-groove profile and is capped with a thread protector, ready to accept muzzle accessories such as a compensator or suppressor.
The stainless steel receiver is also finished in Black PVD and is topped with an integrated Black PVD Picatinny rail, providing a rock-solid mounting platform for modern optics, red dots, or magnified scopes. The receiver feeds a traditional tubular magazine for a total capacity of 9+1 rounds, and the action is cycled by a large loop lever that offers plenty of room for gloved hands in cold or fast-paced shooting.
Sighting is handled by a classic gold bead front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight, delivering a quick, intuitive sight picture right out of the box. A crisp flat-face trigger breaks cleanly for improved accuracy, while a crossbolt safety provides positive, thumb-friendly engagement.
The fixed satin walnut stock features a brown finish group, giving the rifle a traditional look and feel that complements its heritage. Overall length measures 36 inches and the rifle weighs in at 7.10 lbs, striking a balance that carries well in the field and shoulders quickly for offhand shooting.
Manufactured in the USA and backed by Smith & Wesson quality, the Model 1854 in .44 Rem Mag is a refined take on the classic lever-action rifle – equally at home on the range, in the field, or displayed in a collection.
