This 8 MOA variant pairs Shield’s newly designed aluminum housing with an all-new, crystal-clear glass lens and an eye-safe red LED reticle, giving shooters a fast, intuitive aiming point on sub-compact carry pistols.
A single, daylight-bright 8 MOA dot delivers quick sight acquisition at defensive distances and is equally well suited to close-quarters range work. A 1X non-magnified sight picture keeps both eyes open for maximum situational awareness, while the nitrogen-sealed housing carries an IP67 waterproof rating (submersible to 30 feet for 30 minutes) to shrug off rain, sweat, and real-world carry abuse. The optic is night vision compatible, contains no radioactive materials, and uses no laser – only a safe red light-emitting diode.
Engineered specifically for compact pistols, the AMSc is purpose-built around the tight slide profiles of narrow-frame and single-stack handguns.
