Description
The Savage Rascal Minimalist is a purpose-built single-shot bolt-action youth rifle chambered in .22 LR, designed to introduce new and younger shooters to rimfire shooting in a lightweight, scaled-down platform.
At its core is a 16.12″ matte black carbon steel barrel with a 1:16″ twist and an 11-degree target crown. The barrel is threaded 1/2×28 for suppressor or muzzle-device compatibility and ships with the thread protector cap installed. It feeds into a satin black carbon steel receiver that carries Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a positive thumb safety, configured for right-handed operation.
The rifle wears a Boyd’s Minimalist laminate stock finished in a distinctive gray and teal hybrid scheme. The stock is scaled for smaller-framed shooters with an 11.5″ length-of-pull. Total rifle length is 30.63″ and weight comes in at a trim 3.50 lbs.
