Description
The Savage 110 Apex Hunter XP is a complete hunting package that pairs Savage’s proven Model 110 bolt action with a factory-mounted, bore-sighted Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm scope, ready to hunt right out of the box. This example is chambered in .22-250 Rem, a flat-shooting varmint and predator cartridge, and is configured for left-hand operation.
At the heart of the rifle is a 20″ sporter barrel with a 1:12″ twist rate optimized for typical .22-250 projectile weights, fed by a detachable box magazine with a 4+1 capacity. The action features Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger for a custom pull weight and a traditional thumb safety. Overall length measures 40.25″, and the rifle weighs approximately 7.67 lbs.
The receiver is machined from carbon steel and finished in matte black, mated to a black synthetic stock with an adjustable length-of-pull to accommodate a range of shooters. The Apex Hunter XP ships without iron sights; the included Vortex Crossfire II serves as the aiming system, secured to the receiver with Vortex Hunter rings.
The included Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm riflescope features a Dead-Hold BDC reticle for holdover at extended ranges and is factory-mounted and bore-sighted by Savage for out-of-the-box accuracy. The 3-9x magnification range covers everything from open-country varminting to mid-range deer hunting.
