Designed for law enforcement, rescue, military, and hard-use EDC, the Trident AT pairs a 3.70″ tanto blade with SOG’s ambidextrous AT-XR Lock and textured glass-reinforced nylon handle scales.
The blade is cut from Cryo D2 tool steel – a high-carbon, high-chromium steel that has been cryogenically heat-treated to SOG’s performance specifications for superior edge retention and toughness. The tanto profile delivers excellent tip strength for piercing and detail work, while the Black TiNi (Titanium Nitride) coating reduces glare and adds corrosion resistance. A plain edge keeps the cutting geometry clean for controlled slicing and utility cuts.
Opening is handled via dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one-handed deployment. Closed, the knife measures 5.33″ and opens to 9.03″ overall, weighing just 5.15 oz.
