The RWS Umarex P2P HDP 50 Compact Gen 2 is a less-lethal personal defense air pistol chambered in .50 caliber and manufactured by Umarex for the RWS catalog. Designed for snag-free concealed carry and rapid deployment, this second-generation compact pistol delivers an ergonomic form factor tailored to home defense and personal protection applications.
Built around a double-action-only trigger, the HDP 50 Compact Gen 2 runs on a single 8-gram CO2 capsule and feeds from a 4-round detachable magazine. Each CO2 charge supports up to 12 shots before a swap is needed, and an automatic safety is integrated into the trigger mechanism. The pistol is intended to fire .50 caliber less-lethal projectiles such as rubber balls and pepper ball rounds.
The compact frame is finished in a high-visibility orange and black two-tone scheme for easy visual identification as a less-lethal device. The pistol measures 7.17 inches overall and weighs 1.3 pounds. Energy output is rated under 7.5 joules, keeping it firmly within less-lethal classification. This is a new-production air pistol intended for non-lethal home defense and personal protection scenarios.
