The Rival Arms Guide Rod Assembly is a drop-in replacement for the factory plastic guide rod in Smith & Wesson M&P-9 pistols chambered in 9mm Luger and configured with a 4.25″ barrel.
Precision CNC-machined from a solid stainless steel billet and finished in a durable black coating, this assembly is built to be stronger and more corrosion-resistant than the OEM plastic rod it replaces. It ships fully assembled with a premium recoil spring at stock weight, ready for immediate installation with no fitting required.
Adding mass forward of the slide’s center of gravity helps reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip, allowing faster and more controllable follow-up shots. The one-piece stainless construction also resists the chipping, cracking, and flex that can occur with factory polymer guide rods over time.
