Description
The Rise Armament Watchman XR is a semi-automatic AR-platform rifle chambered in the modern 6mm ARC cartridge, purpose-built for hunters and precision shooters who want extended-range performance from a feature-rich factory rifle.
At the core of the Watchman XR is an 18″ fluted and threaded barrel button-rifled from 416R stainless steel, air-gauged and tested for accuracy and finished with an 11 degree target crown. The barrel rides inside an aluminum receiver topped with a full-length Picatinny rail for optics mounting, paired with a pinned gas block for reliable cycling. The threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle device of the shooter’s choice. The receiver wears a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish with contrasting blued/black metal accents.
The action accepts a detachable AR-pattern magazine with a 10+1 capacity. The fire control is Rise’s own ICONIC Independent Two-Stage Trigger, paired with a familiar AR-pattern safety selector switch. An ambidextrous charging handle accommodates both right- and left-handed shooters. The rifle ships without iron sights, allowing the shooter to mount a scope or red dot directly to the integral rail.
The stock is a Magpul PRS Lite in brown, providing an adjustable cheek weld and length-of-pull for a stable, custom-fit shooting position whether shooting from a bench, prone, or supported field positions. The Watchman XR measures 37.25″ overall and weighs 8 lbs, balancing long-barrel accuracy with a manageable carry weight for hunters covering ground on foot.
