Description
The Reptilia ROF Diving Board is an optic-forward mounting platform designed specifically for 34mm scope rings, including Geissele Super Precision mounts and Reptilia’s own AUS 34mm mounts. By extending a short MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail forward of the optic, the ROF-Diving Board gives the shooter a stable, repeatable location to clamp a laser rangefinder, illumination tool, or other front-of-scope accessory without crowding the scope body or turrets.
Part number 100266, this is the Single Ring configuration in black, finished in MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 hardcoat anodized for long-term durability under hard use. The ROF (Rangefinder Optic Forward) Diving Board ships with the mounting hardware needed for installation, including nitrided 4140 steel screws. It is purpose-built to clamp to 34mm ring hardware and is not intended for use with 30mm tube optics or dedicated Nightforce UltraMount rings; for those applications Reptilia offers separate 30mm and Nightforce-spec Diving Board variants.
The ROF-Diving Board clamps to the host optic’s existing 34mm ring hardware, placing a forward Picatinny rail within easy reach of the shooter’s support hand so a rangefinder or illumination tool can be activated or swapped without breaking shooting position. It is a clean solution for long-range rifle builds where a forward-mounted laser rangefinder lets the shooter range targets without coming off the scope or leaving the firing position.
