The Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) MK116 MOD 1-M is a mission-ready upper receiver designed to bring extreme reliability to the 7.62x39mm AR platform. While the 7.62×39 round is notoriously hard on traditional direct impingement ARs, PWS utilizes its world-renowned Long Stroke Piston System to deliver AK-47 levels of durability with the precision and modularity of the AR-15. The MOD 1-M series is the workhorse of the PWS lineup, featuring a proven forged upper receiver with a functional forward assist.
The MK116 MOD 1-M features a 16.1″ precision-rifled 41V50 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel barrel with an Isonite QPQ finish for superior wear resistance. The heart of this system is the 3-setting adjustable gas block, which allows you to tune the rifle for suppressed use or varied ammunition types with ease. Unlike the MOD 2-M, the MOD 1-M retains the traditional forward assist and is equipped with the M-LOK® free-float handguard, offering a lightweight and robust mounting surface for all your tactical accessories.
Each upper comes complete with a Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle and the highly effective PWS FSC 30 compensator, making it a drop-in, premium solution for your next 7.62×39 AR build.
