The Pro-Shot Chamber Maid Chamber Star Swab is a purpose-built cleaning tool designed to remove carbon and fouling from the star chamber and locking lug recesses of .308-caliber / 7.62mm rifles. Each swab is cut to clear both the chamber body and the locking lug pockets in a single pass, making quick work of the routine cleaning that keeps semi-auto and battle-rifle actions running reliably.
Sized for the .308 Winchester chamber, Pro-Shot specifically rates this swab for use on the AR-10, FN FAL, and AK-pattern rifles, as well as any other rifle with a matching star chamber geometry. The solvent-safe, star-shaped head reaches the locking lug recesses where a standard round bore patch cannot, helping you maintain dependable extraction and smooth functioning.
To use, simply wet the swab with your preferred bore cleaner and run it through the chamber; the cut-outs clear fouling and carbon from each lug pocket on a single pass. Each pack contains 12 swabs, a practical supply for regular cleaning sessions or for armorer and bench use.
