Description
The Odin Works XMR2 Gen 2 Extended Magazine Release is an oversized magazine catch button machined from billet 6061 aluminum with a Red anodized finish and the signature ODIN boomerang cuts for added traction under fire. Designed as a drop-in upgrade for the AR-15 platform, the XMR2 provides a larger, easier-to-reach paddle than the standard mil-spec magazine release, allowing the operator to drop the mag without breaking shooting grip or shifting hand position.
The Gen 2 redesign is engineered to work with both AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers (and many .308-pattern frames), and is fully compatible with KNS non-standard anti-walk pins as well as the BAD lever and similar ambidextrous magazine assist devices. Installation is a simple minutes-long swap of the existing magazine catch button – no permanent modifications required.
Built from 6061 aircraft-grade billet aluminum with an ergonomic extended paddle profile, the XMR2 ships complete with the paddle, button, and mounting hardware ready to install on your existing AR lower.
