Description
The North American Arms Black Widow is a compact five-shot mini-revolver chambered in 22 WMR (22 Magnum). Built in the USA on NAA’s proven mini-revolver platform, the Black Widow pairs a full 2″ barrel with an extended stainless steel frame, giving shooters a longer sight radius and a steadier hold while remaining small enough to slip into a jacket pocket or daypack. It is well suited as a lightweight backup gun, a snake-shot companion, or a fun range revolver.
Action is a classic single-action-only (SAO) with a 5-shot cylinder, a standard spur hammer, and a standard trigger pull. The frame and barrel carry a stainless steel finish for corrosion resistance, and the revolver wears a set of black rubber grips that help tame magnum recoil and provide positive purchase in adverse conditions. Sights are adjustable, a notable feature on such a small revolver, giving the Black Widow practical accuracy well beyond contact distance.
At roughly 8.8 oz unloaded, the Black Widow disappears in a pocket yet delivers the unmistakable crack of .22 Magnum from a revolver known for extreme reliability and almost no maintenance. The frame is not drilled and tapped for an optic mount, keeping the gun snag-free for everyday carry, and the magnum chambering adds a useful step up in power over .22 LR mini-revolvers while still cycling standard 22 WMR loads.
