The NcStar DAB is an affordable compact 1x reflex optic built around red and green dot illumination in a black hardcoat anodized aluminum housing. Its Heads Up display pairs a 25 mm objective with a multi-position rheostat knob that switches between red and green reticle colors and offers 3 brightness levels per color, so you can tune the dot for indoor low-light or bright outdoor ranges.
Designed for fast target acquisition at close range, the DAB delivers unlimited eye relief and an LED-illuminated reticle that is 100% safe for the eyes. Adjustable windage and elevation let you zero the optic to your firearm, and the integrated mount is a convertible Weaver / 3/8″ dovetail pattern, so the DAB drops onto most rail mounts and rimfire dovetail receivers (including the Ruger 10/22) without a separate base.
At just 4.10″ long and 4.66 oz, the DAB is a popular budget choice for plinking rifles, tactical carbines, and home-defense setups. Power comes from a single CR2032 battery, and the package ships with the battery plus mounting tools, ready to install right out of the box.
