Description
The Mossberg Patriot is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. This Walnut variant (item 27835) pairs a classic walnut fixed stock with a matte blued finish on the metal, giving the Patriot a timeless hunting rifle appearance.
At the heart of this Patriot is a 22″ button-rifled, fluted barrel with a 1:10″ twist and a recessed crown. The barrel is free-floated and mates to a matte blued stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The rifle measures 42.75″ overall and weighs approximately 7 lbs.
The Patriot runs Mossberg’s proven bolt-action design fed by a detachable 5-round drop box magazine, giving it a 5+1 capacity in .243 Win. Fire control is handled by Mossberg’s adjustable LBA trigger. A crossbolt safety sits behind the bolt for thumb-engaged operation. No iron sights are installed, leaving the receiver open for your optic of choice.
