Description
The Midwest Industries MCTAR-LPG is a one-piece low-profile gas block purpose-built for the AR-15 platform. Machined from 4140 steel with a black finish, it measures 1.8″ long x .850″ wide x 1.35″ tall and is sized at .750″ to fit standard AR-15 barrel gas-block journals.
Its slim low-profile footprint is engineered to sit cleanly under most commercially available free-float handguards and rails, giving builders maximum clearance for optics, sights, and accessories on the upper receiver. The gas block secures to the barrel with three set screws, providing a solid, reliable lockup that holds up under hard use.
At 1.8″ long, the MCTAR-LPG is long enough to cover the taper pin holes left behind when a factory front sight base is removed, making it a clean, drop-in replacement for upgrading or refinishing an AR-15 build.
