The Midwest Industries Combat Rail HD is a heavy-duty free-float handguard purpose-built for .308 AR-10 platforms. Machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in hardcoat anodized black, this low-profile rail delivers the rigidity and modularity needed for serious use on big-bore AR builds.
Measuring 15 inches long with a robust 1.750″ outside diameter and 1.250″ inside diameter, the Combat Rail HD uses M-LOK slots along the sides and bottom for accessory mounting while maintaining a continuous Picatinny rail along the top. The shape and profile are designed for maximum rigidity under hard use, with minimal point-of-impact shift even when running night vision aiming devices.
This low-profile version drops the rail closer to the barrel for a streamlined look and improved handling. A longer 4140 steel barrel nut is included for a rock-solid, return-to-zero installation, along with the necessary mounting hardware.
