Description
The Magpul MBUS 3 Sight Rear is a lightweight, folding backup rear sight built from impact-resistant polymer for the modern AR platform. Purpose-built to take over when a primary optic fails or goes down, it clamps to any standard 1913 Picatinny rail and springs up to a locked sight picture with the press of an ambidextrous push-button release.
Aesthetically descended from the MBUS Pro, the Gen 3 keeps the same low-profile silhouette while swapping metal for high-strength black polymer to cut weight and cost. When stowed, the sight sits just 0.55 inches above the rail so it stays clear of your main optic. A tool-less windage knob delivers roughly 0.5 MOA per click, so zeroing takes nothing more than a finger and a few turns – no punch, no disassembly, no range bag tools required.
The MBUS 3 is engineered to fit the most common AR-pattern flattops, including the AR-10, AR-15, M4, M16, M110, and SR-25. Hardware is included, and the entire sight weighs just 30 grams, adding minimal load to your rifle while giving you a dependable aiming solution whether you’re running it as a co-witness, a primary, or a true backup.
