Description
The LBE Unlimited ARTDDS is a 10-pack of take-down detent springs built for AR-platform lower receivers. These bronze-finish springs provide the compression and tension needed to seat and retain the take-down detent on AR-pattern rifles and pistols, and they drop in to any standard mil-spec AR lower without fitting or modification.
A take-down detent spring works together with the take-down detent to keep the rear take-down pin captured inside the lower receiver. When the spring loses tension or goes missing during a field strip, the take-down pin drifts free and the upper pops loose. These replacements restore the correct spring rate so the detent seats firmly and the rear take-down pin stays put during firing and handling.
Manufactured in the USA by LBE Unlimited, the springs are sized to standard AR-pattern dimensions and finished in bronze for corrosion resistance during long-term storage in a parts bin or armory drawer. The 10-pack format is ideal for armorers, gunsmiths, and shooters who build multiple rifles or simply want spare springs on hand for field repairs and lower rebuilds.
