The LaserMax LMSG519 is a red internally mounted guide rod laser sight engineered specifically for the Glock 19 Gen 5 family of pistols. Replacing the factory guide rod, this unit sits entirely inside the slide so nothing protrudes from the frame, preserving the pistol’s factory profile while adding a fast point-and-shoot aiming reference.
Built around a 635nm red laser diode with a 5mW output, the LMSG519 projects a 0.63 inch dot at 20 yards with a usable range of 50 meters. It runs on widely available 393-series batteries and routes its controls through the slide stop lever, providing an ambidextrous on/off switch that works equally well for left- and right-handed shooters. Because there are no external windage or elevation adjustments, the laser is a true set-and-forget aiming system.
This guide rod laser is model-specific and fits the Glock 19 Gen5 platform including the Glock 19 MOS, Glock 19X, and Glock 45.
