The LANTAC USA Drakon is a purpose-built muzzle brake engineered for 7.62x39mm AK-pattern rifles. Precision machined from hardened milspec steel and through-hardened to 48Rc, the Drakon features LANTAC’s patented gas handling system to dramatically reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots and improved control during rapid fire.
Finished in nitride for outstanding corrosion and wear resistance, the DGNAK47B-ASR carries an M14x1 left-hand thread pitch to match the factory muzzle of 7.62×39 AK-47 rifles. The integrated SilencerCo ASR mounting interface allows quick attachment and detachment of compatible SilencerCo ASR-series sound suppressors, giving shooters a streamlined path from muzzle brake to suppressed configuration without removing the device from the barrel.
Caliber-specific gas porting, the correct AK thread pattern, and a rugged milspec-grade steel construction make the Drakon a drop-on upgrade for any standard-thread 7.62×39 AK platform running unsuppressed or planning to step up to an ASR-mount suppressor down the road.
