The LANTAC USA Dragon is a precision 9mm muzzle brake built around LANTAC’s patent-pending Short Energy Pulse system, engineered to noticeably reduce felt recoil and tame muzzle rise on rapid-fire strings. Designed specifically for 9x19mm (9mm Luger) carbines and pistol-caliber platforms, it mates to any barrel threaded 1/2×28 – the standard pitch on most 9mm AR-pattern uppers, PCCs, and dedicated pistol-caliber rifles.
The Dragon is machined from hardened mil-spec steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant black nitride (QPQ) coating that shrugs off heat and weather. At roughly 2.57″ long with a 0.866″ body diameter, it adds meaningful recoil control without ballooning the overall length of the host firearm. The result is a muzzle device that helps the shooter stay on target between shots, flatter and faster follow-ups, and tighter groups on strings of fire.
Installation is straightforward – thread the brake onto a 1/2×28 barrel shank and torque it down against the shoulder with standard crush-washer or shim timing.
