Description
The LANTAC USA Dragon Muzzle Brake is a full-length, precision-machined recoil compensator purpose-built for .338 ARC rifles. Part of LANTAC’s flagship Dragon line, this brake uses the company’s patented porting geometry to dramatically reduce felt recoil, muzzle rise, and rotational torque during rapid fire, allowing faster and more accurate follow-up shots on a .30-caliber AR-platform rifle.
The brake is machined from steel and cut with a 5/8×24 thread pitch, fitting the standard muzzle threading common on .30-caliber AR barrels. It is Plan B compatible, meaning it integrates with LANTAC’s proprietary muzzle mounting system for quick swap-outs between brakes, blast shields, and other accessories without re-timing or shimming. The body is finished in QPQ (Quench Polish Quench) Black, a salt-bath nitriding treatment that produces a hard, low-reflectivity surface with excellent corrosion and wear resistance for hard field use.
Designed as a full-length unit, the Dragon directs expanding gases upward and to the sides through a row of precisely angled side ports, countering the heavy climb and torque typical of larger-caliber rifle cartridges. Whether running a precision build, a hunting rifle, or a hard-use carbine chambered in .338 ARC, this muzzle brake delivers measurable improvements in controllability while keeping the overall package compact and snag-free at the muzzle.
