Description
The LANTAC USA Crush Washer is a precision shim designed to properly index and time flash hiders, compensators, and muzzle brakes on AR-15, M16, and M4 pattern barrels with a 1/2-28 thread pitch. When torqued down during muzzle device installation, the washer deforms to take up the gap between the device shoulder and the barrel face, allowing the installer to clock the ports, prongs, or slots to the desired orientation and lock them in place.
Machined from steel with a black finish, this single-use crush washer is built to handle the repeated torque of muzzle device removal and reinstallation without crumbling. It is intended for .223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO, and 9mm Luger barrels fitted with the common 1/2×28 TPI threading found on most sporting AR-pattern carbines and pistols.
